40 years passed.... the world now and than?
You have to fly
in 1972: The seats in the airplain are spacious enough to hold two, you get excellent food, drinks are offered amazingly often, the stewardesses are cute, sweet and extreemly caring.
in 2012: You get to the airplain holding in one hand your pants you had to put down during the security control, if you want a drink the stewardess gives you a menu with skyrocketed prices, but you do not protest because at the arrival you do not want to be taken to the toll control where they will put a finger into your ass trying to find narcotics....
After school Michael wants to go the forest, he shows his friend Johny a knife with which he wants to cut a bow
in 1972: The principal, seeing the knife asks Michael where did he bought it, because he looks for a similar one.
in 2012: the school gets closed, the antiterrorist team brings Michael to the police station, CNN informs about the shocking incident in the 6pm news. They repeat the news at 8pm and few times during the next day.
Discipline at school
in 1972: you behave foolish during the class. The teacher smacks you at the head. You come back home, your father does the same thing. You grow up a responsible guy, you marry, have a job and kids.
in 2012: you behave foolish during the class. The teacher feels sorry for you, you father feels sorry for you too. He buys you a 4-wheeler, which you sell it to join the top street gang.
Fight at school
in 1972: Mike and Johny fight. Others make helpful comments. All are having fun. Mike wins, shakes hand with Johny, they become life friends.
in 2012: Mike and Johny fight. CNN reports repeated violence acts at school. The news gets to the first page, 5 columns. In consequence the school gets closed for one week. All employes have to attend anger managment and conflict resolution formation. The school committee takes a decision to invest $30,000 into security system, school fees raise.
1st year at school
in 1972: In the school yard little Frank runs, fels down, hurts his knee and cries. Theacher Kate takes him in her arms and comforts him. Few moments later Frank feels better and goes back to play with his friends.
in 2012: Teacher Kate is assumed to be pedofile. Frank's parents press legal charges against the school and against the teacher. They win both processes. During the next 5 years Frank attends trauma therapy. He never really recovers from it. Kate looses her job and house and declares bancruptcy.
End of vacation
in 1972: After two weeks spent in the camping place up in north the family comes back home, you go back to work, kids go back to school, all is back to normal, nothing happens.
in 2012: After 1 weeks spent in the south (all included) one has to come back. People start to develop insomnia and a serios depression follows.
